Hiking for Freedom: Trekking Machu Picchu to Change Lives
As we take on the breathtaking challenge of hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, we are not just climbing for adventure—we are climbing for impact. Every step we take is a step towards hope, restoration, and transformation for communities around the world

Our Projects
We are raising funds to support 10+ life-changing projects that are bringing light into some of the world's darkest places. These projects span across South America, Africa, and Asia, serving refugees, vulnerable children, persecuted believers, victims of human trafficking, and people struggling with poverty, addiction, and war.

Dzaleka Refugee Camp
Home to up to 70,000 refugees, Dzaleka faces severe hardship with limited aid, overcrowded schools, and no work opportunities. Nico and Vicky van Wyk provide spiritual care, discipleship, and trauma healing, bringing hope and dignity to those in need.

Asociación Vidas
Since 2012, Asociación Vidas has been supporting vulnerable elderly people in Peru, providing meals, health care, and emotional and spiritual support. Their outreach includes nutritious meals, physiotherapy, mental health workshops, Bible studies, and craft activities to promote well-being. Regular health check-ups and hygiene care further enhance their quality of life, ensuring they receive the dignity and love they deserve.

Roodepoort Inner City
Since 2015, we have reached out to young men trapped in addiction and homelessness in Roodepoort. Our ministry center offers food, companionship, and a chance for change, but without our own rehab facility, many lose hope during the long government process. With financial support, we can establish a center for detox, rehabilitation, discipleship, and skill-building—offering a real path to restoration.

Love Looks Like Something
Golden Valley, Western Cape, is plagued by addiction, abuse, and poverty, leaving children especially vulnerable. To bring lasting change, we aim to establish a Transformation Center—a safe space for early childhood care, after-school support, crisis assistance, and community worship. Future plans include skills training to empower adults. With your support, we can build a place of hope, healing, and opportunity, helping families break free from hardship and create a brighter future.

Business Project
We use Business as Mission as a platform to gain access to communities in a country where believers are persecuted for their faith. We want to reach places in this country and broader region where people of different ages are vulnerable to human trafficking and migration to other countries due to desperate economic situations. There we can teach people Kingdom Business principles and show them how to harness their businesses in the Kingdom - across the entire country and region - so they can reach out to their own communities effectively.

Aid for the Disabled in Ukraine
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, millions have been displaced, and government funds have been redirected to defense, leaving many vulnerable people without support. In Vinnytsia, a relatively safe area, wounded soldiers and disabled individuals, like Vasiliy, struggle to survive on minimal state pensions. Since 2022, we have been providing essential supplies such as food, soap, and diapers to 40 bedridden individuals. Your support can help ensure they receive the care they desperately need.

Wild Mongoo
We empower women trapped in poverty, prostitution, and abuse by providing counselling, skills training, and a safe space to rebuild their lives. Through business and financial education, they gain independence, and those with potential receive further training. While our dream of a dedicated safe village is still in progress, we currently offer a small refuge for women starting anew.

Lighthouse Rehab and Skills Centre
The Lighthouse Rehabilitation and Skills Centre in Wilderness, a partnership between Ethnos Movement International and NG church Die Vleie, addresses addiction, abuse, and poverty along the Garden Route. Offering holistic programs of discipleship, medical care, counselling, and skills training, the center aims to restore individuals and help them reintegrate into society. A safe house for women will also be included. Your support will help provide the infrastructure needed to make a lasting impact.

Agricultural Project
Our initiative uses agriculture to serve communities across Asia, empowering local believers through discipleship and economic sustainability. By addressing food security and fostering self-sufficiency, we create lasting impact. Our values of integrity, fairness, and generosity spark curiosity, opening doors for meaningful connections and transformation.
